`exactly 12 hrs away
well well, 2006 is coming to a close
so i just pen down my thoughts and prepare for 2007 :)
2006 wasnt a fantastic year, as most O level takers would agree.
jan- mar was like slacking months, thinking that Os is still far away and that there's still time
slowly as common tests and class tests piled up, i was getting frightened by the lack of time.
the pace i was studying at was not sufficient, i knew it, but yet, i didnt do anything much because i lacked motivation.
mid year part 1 came and go. it was a fast one as the bulk of the papers were in term 3 which kinda made no sense..and ta-dah, 1st O level paper down - MOTHER TONGUE.
it was a relief and told myself not to re-take it no matter what the grades are, despite not much studying is needed.
mid year part 2 was relatively bad. i didnt study much during the june holidays, only like the last week. but then, my mindset was still "it's only mid years..not much of a deal"
results received. some good, some bad.
music marathon was the highlight of school - 90th anniversary..hahahah. choosing the songs were hard as some songs cldnt fit into the calibre of PL girls and blah blah. hahahhaa.. the group i was in was alrights lahs. it was an attitude of get it over and done it.
yeps.
syallbus were finished by the mid of july and practicals were like every week which made it my fav part of sciences cos at least we dont need to hear monotonus voices. hahahha.
prelim prac, gce o'level english and chinese oral came along. didnt do well for prelims prac as some of you know. was rather down and afraid by that. and then oral for chinese was real bad. eng oral was good ;)
august, september
mug mug mug. it simply became a routinue. going to school for exams in sept. studied quite hard for it and results produced ;) . study lessons in the hall was fun though tiring. hahahhaa
finally! study leave. it was such a drag to wake up, study, eat, rest, study, eat, sleep. calls were made to and fro to clarify questions with friends. sms-es were used as breathers.. lol..
that 2 weeks of studying at home alone wasnt good.. i ate lots and didnt shed them. hahaa.
the BIG FAT OS FINALLY CAME! and the start was baddd.....lit paper 1 was screwed! totally! bio was okie okie lah.. so two papers down, weekends approached. mug mug mug for the whole 1 week of intense exams. day by day, i knocked off the calender, breathing seemed much easier and late nights were gradually slowing. hahahhaha.
once lit paper 2 was down on the following monday, i was relieved! though i had 3 days break before the f&n paper, i could relax a bit! and something to look forward too! MAHES's birthday and STEP UP! wheeeee...
that motivated me to study hard for f&n - which paid off because nair is such a good teacher. lol
but bush's visit pushed the paper back by an hour. argh...but nvm.
had fun on that fri!
sci mcq wasnt on anyone's minds by then. WHAHAHAHAHAHA
HORRAY! sci mcq.. the minute the chief examiner said "pens down".. i was YEAH!!! freedom at last!
PROM night was the next highlight. as the rest of my friends were busy scouring for nice dresses, i could laze at home. hahahha..
the night came, everyone looked fab. and gone the next morning.
december came, dance pracs were getting more. camp was approaching - i was leader. and i thanked god for letting me go for my first camp. hahahah. it taught me real things.
christmas eve dance, christmas day. and now
NEW YEAR's EVEand im going to crash my friends house! WHEEEEE....
next year. a new chapter of my life is going to phase. new responsibilities - being an SGL!
a good thing or a bad thing? i'll find out next year! hahahaha
